they're beautiful and the magical thing about clothes is that they can be washed. some smell really nostalgic and i loves it.

I don't go thrifting vert often, but every now and then I find something I can't leave the store without. I like thrift stores especially for jewelry, coats/jackets, and bags.

Yes! just make sure it's a nice enough one and don't buy certain things, like things that you obviously wouldn't wear after someone else has.

I'm a really frugal shopper without a lot of money to spend, so I LOVE thrifting. Sometimes things do smell a bit weird but as soon as you wash them it's fine. A couple of my favorite shirts and sweaters are from thrift stores. There's always fun stuff to find. :)

I love thrifting, in fact, I went today! I usually find at least one good thing!
One of my favourite finds ever, actually, I have in my newest look! I got it like 7 years ago, It's like...an engraved purse thing? I'm not sure how to describe it, but you can see it here! XD

I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores. Where else can I buy two whole outfits for the price of a sweater at the mall? It does have a bit of a smell, but so do some first-hand retail stores. Like stuff from Garage always smells a little weird..

if I didn't shop in thrift stores, I'd never be able to afford new clothes. most of the stuff I get barely has a smell, and I can always wash it. thrifting allows me to get clothes that aren't identical to what everyone else is wearing. thrift stores are a godsend in my town, where we have like two stores in the mall that aren't complete shit.

Very very much yes. I've found some pretty nice pieces I would've bought full-price if it wasn't for the fact it was in a thrift store. I think my most prized find so far is my Zara Man trench coat for 1.75$ in one of my looks.

I love what thrift shops have to offer, but it's difficult for me to find pieces because it's always too big or long for me. If I were more of a seamstress, I'd probably thrift more. I mainly find jackets and jewelry in thrift shops. I also find the occasional pair of shoes because I have small feet and most of those places have the smaller sizes.

ugh i LOVE thrift stores! they are literally one of the golden areas to find super vintage and unique clothing items. although they do smell crusty and unsure at first, after some post-washing it should be fine and good to go for outfit building.

Basically everything I buy is from thrift shops. I found a couple of really good ones. One by my house that has higher quality clothing for really cheap prices, and one by my school that has more vintage clothing. And the local GoodWill has a great selection of sweaters.

I'm addicted to thrifting, especially because I can sew well enough to do my own alterations and I can find tons of unique clothes within my budget. One of my best finds was a vintage Coach purse in perfect condition for $10. Plus, buying anything used is good for the environment.

YES. There are two places around here that I like to go to. One of them is bigger and pays pretty close attention to quality, so I go to that one to fill out my basic wardrobe needs, and the other is more quirky and the employees write little notes on the price tags like "Awesome sleeves" or "Rainy day sweater", and I go there for more unique pieces.

Yes! I have some friends who are opposed to thrift shops because they can't get over the idea of wearing someone else's clothes but I personally don't mind because thrift shops are where I find the most unique pieces at the great price. I mean hey, if they wanna go spend tons more money to buy all their clothes at the mall that so many people already own, then go ahead, but I personally like to pay less and get more unique items. This way I can also buy more clothes and thus have a larger closet :)

All of my favorite items of clothing have been purchased from thrift shops, usually the clothes I end up never wearing are from "normal" clothing stores.
