Wow, this could be a long list... in Rome people are pretty biased..
-If you cut school one day, people say you always do.
-If you kiss a guy you've never seen before at a party, they'll always say you're a whore.
-If you get an A once, they say you always get A's..
I guess it gets positive after awhile.. :D

I think many people around the world believe that all Korean eat the dog. But it is not true. Some people including me hate eating the dog. And there's a movement of public opinion to prohibit raising dog for eating, although some old people still eat dogs for increasing stamina... which is crap. :-(

Filipinos love to eat! and we do not have the customary 3 square meals a day! We have what we call merienda (snack) which usually refers to afternoon snacks but can also mean anything consumed in between meals. and this can range anything from sweet rice cakes to noodles or even pizza! and i think we are the only people who eat fried rice for breakfast!

England. Need I say more? I don't know the Queen, I don't own a top hat and I didn't wet myself over the royal wedding.
However, I do love a cup of English Breakfast in the morning and a week Darjeeling or a strong Chai in the afternoon. Gotta have a good cuppa tea.

stereotypes I hear about Canadians that people actually believe (not like taking sled dog teams everywhere, having pet bears and that junk) are that we're all really polite, aren't bothered by the cold, think hockey is the best and all can speak French and English.

I'm from Switzerland, and especially the Americans have many stereotypes when they come here...
1. Not everybody can yodel... In fact, I don't have a single friend who yodels...
2. We also eat other things than cheese and drink other things than milk.
3. There are not mountains everywhere.
4. You can do much more in Switzerland than go hiking, climbing, skiing or see the Matterhorn.
5. The biggest part of Switzerland has got german as main language, but french, italian and rhaeto-romanic are also languages of the country, and in school it's obligatory to learn german, french and english.
6. Switzerland, Germany and Austria are three different countrys, and we do NOT speak the same language! People in Switzerland speak Swiss German, in Germany they speak Geman and in Austria they speak Austrian German. The Swiss and the Austrians understand each other pretty good and they understand German, but the Germans don't understand Swiss German and Austrian German.
7. We don't have winter all the time... We have four seasons too, it can get really hot here in summer!
Lots of stereotypes!! But one is true: YES, we do have the best chocolate on earth... :P

True: most of the Austrians are permanently dissatisfied and whining and complaining but never get their asses up to change anything. Thats so annyoing!
Another stereotype is that all Austrians know how to ski and love it...while i do know how to ski i in fact hate it. i hate all types of winter sport!
Another thing...not everybody in Austria is wearing "Lederhosen" all the time ;) and not everyone enjoys "Volksmusik" the traditional austrian music. I think it's horrible :D

1. We have bulls running trought our streets. ( That only happens in a few places in certain parties )
2. We love bullfighting ( Mostly only old traditional people support that )
3. We know flamenco and we like it ( Fake, only few people can dance flamenco, the others we only pretend we can haha )
4.We are lazy ( I read a newspaper article some days ago and it says we work in average one hour more than germans )
5.We are funny, extroverted people, ( there are also many shy and boring ones, just like everywhere )
6. All called Maria and José/Pepe with really dark skin and hair.
7.We love paella and are always eating it
8.We all sleep siesta ( we would like that yeah, but we don't have the time for that )
9.Always drinking sangria and playing guitar. ( Flamenco or course hahaha )
Those are just few of them haha :)

I guess the most obvious for each are...
English: Posh and snobbish and love to drink tea (I actually don't like proper English tea, only fruit teas)
Irish: All alcoholics who drink nothing but Guiness (I only drink at parties, and loathe Guiness)
Welsh: That they have sex with sheep.

Most people in Bahrain (where i'm from) care a bit too much about how they look
Word DOES go round fast.

Hobbits who have barbeques, watch rugby and shag sheep with our sexy accents.. We wear jandles and stubbies and we are all farmers that holiday at the crib with our whanaus.. We're all still bushwackers and are total " greenies" and activists even though we know nothing about politics and how to elect a primeminister.. ( Yeah john Key, you noob! Troty??WTF! We all saw you dive in for that handshake with Richie McCaw.. did not want to know that you just had a vascetomy..)

indian film industry means only gaudy ott bollywood
we are all prudes
we all love wearing traditional indian attire and have no global fashion sense (this myth is definitely changing)

United States:
We are fat.
-True, we do enjoy the bigger portions. But not all of us are obese.
We are nosy.
-Personally, I'm reserved so I don't really care about other people's business. I don't speak for my Representatives, however,
We are loud.
-Not really. At all.
I live in the Midwest United States and that has so many stereotypes it's not even funny.
No, it's not all white, no, it's not all corn and farms, we actually do have populated cities, we have a lot of culture, and not all of us are farmers.
However, we do tend to be hardworking and neighborly.

Haha I love how much the Germans stereotypes are pretty much what I saw in Bavaria while at the university in Munich. But then again, most Germans seem to concede that Bavarians are weird. My friend from Bremen visited once and was horrified to see people wearing dirndls for no reason. And another friend from Stuttgart explained that it was actually a trend to wear it to the clubs in Munich (And it had nothing to do with Wiesn/Oktoberfest).
Anyways, people assume I'm a beach connossuir because I'm from Miami. I don't really like the beach that much. Sand? ick...
I don't speak Spanish (yet).
I've never met any celebrities on the beach.
Our anthem is not Welcome to Miami by Will Smith
There is a very big difference between mainland Miami and Miami Beach. Once you're off the Beach things are very far apart and you need a car.
We're not very "Southern" in lifestyle. Ex. Someone from Miami and someone from Charleston are 2 different beasts.
Being 1st gen does not mean my parents did not come her on a boat from Cuba/Haiti.

America. Texas, specifically.
I hear things about everyone down here being a redneck, and that IS true, in certain areas anyway. We are very opinionated and are blind beyond our perspective (ahem, my family), but I think that's the case for people in general. Most people in my town can and will use a firearm, wear cowboy boots, and eat several different types of woodland creature. We are very friendly, believe it or not. Not the most open minded, but very friendly.

The stereotype of my state is hicks-with-trucks-big-hair-and-moonshine. Lol It is somewhat true hahaha, but Texas does have a lot of class if you go to the Higher end cities.
