Yeah, FIT is extremely difficult to get into if you are going for fashion design. If you can't sketch from the Nine Heads method your sewing skills would need to be very above average to even get considered.

Yeah I agree, FIT is EXTREMELY strict about the 9 heads ratio. I took a lot of fashion illustration at FIT. Keep practicing and try to give a little more variety in the model's poses (but still allows the garment to be shown) because people looking over your portfolio will get pretty bored of seeing the same "static and straight" pose all the time.
I think these are just sketches, but make sure to put faces on your models and don't forget to ink them. Make sure it's neat! Hope it helps and good luck! :)

FIT is extremely selective. Just make sure you're on top of everything and do not waste any time with the application process. Get in everything asap because there are hundreds of others just like yourself. But good luck hon.

so i applied to FIT when i had gotten out of high school and they gave me a real smack in the face..my tip for you is BRING ALOT.. like DUFFLE bags full of top notch clothing you've made..otherwise they arent interested. i had kick as sketches and and amazing essay...they wanted to see them made. i followed the directions to a T and it said only things that youve designed nothing from patterns when i got there they said i should have brought them.
but i do like your sketches on a side note.. :]
