- wayfarers/raybans/1950's glasses/ any vintage glasses
i liked them when most of the population still called them "nerd glasses" and now theyre everywhere. the look got exploited. and now its shit. i still think they look good, sadly all the crap 'replicas' made me get sick of it.
- kafeyah (spelling?) scarf things.
- top hats worn with an annoying generic tilt
-"vintage tees" that were manufactured in china last month
-flannel shirts
-fake tan. (the ones that make you glow a flourescent orange)
-people who upload a crap picture of their stomach/boobs/legs just to get hyped
-gucci handbag, which in my opinion looked shit to begin with.
- the "AA circle scarf"
-robin hood boots
-$5 "gladiator shoes"
-outright fake LV bags
add to the list?
*disclaimer* i know ive done some of these things. and thus i get annoyed with myself.

I do not agree with the "not wearing sneakers after high school" statement. I finished high school almost 2 years ago and I still enjoy wearing Chucks since those are my favourite shoes and match my style.

And I'm SO sick of:
* (ripped) Denim shorts - one from every three looks here has a pair of them >_>
* Leggings worn as pants - as many of the previous posts stated
* Crosses - on rings, t-shirts, as jewelry - the cross is a religious, not fashion symbol!!!
* Turbans; septum and monroe piercings - yikes.
* Skinny jeans and especially guys wearing skinny jeans - those jeans make your legs look like insect ones, seriously.

I hate it when girls wear tennis socks in flip flops. I don't get it... and then they also wear outworn sweats, huge padded jackets and fitness bags. I really don't get it...

I'm so sick of people uploading pictures of their photography and not their look, when all you can see it's a beautiful photography, and the look is not even the main thing.

Just general let me pop out the lenses of my fay- bans, throw on a sweater, some loafers, and a keffiyeh scarf and I will now openly proclaim myself as a "hipster"
a hipster who loves Mac Miller and One Direction.

It annoys me when models post pics of their work if its fashion related then posting a pic 1. Its just advertising as everything there wearing is from whereever their modelling for. 2. Its not exactly your look, if it has been styled by someone else.....

Who do you see wearing top hats these days, much less with a "generic" tilt? Haven't seen that at all.
I'm tired of . . .
Jeffery Campbell Litas
Those bracelets that attach to rings
Facial piercings
Ombre hair
Over accessorizing
Severely lined eyes
Distressed denim
I'm still obsessed with . . .
Digital image prints
Neon
Mint green
YSL "Arty" rings
Mui Mui glitter shoes and booties

So sick of...people listing off silly things to hate and perpetuating animosity over something so dumb. Does it fix anything? Why not try to actually be a trend influencer of some kind? Y'know, actually make a difference?
I'm really surprised that a lot of the people in this thread bother to check in to this website anymore, since I'm seeing repeat listings of styles and trends that have always been around, and probably will always be.

Hmm... the thing that I can think of off the top of my head are people that aren't of native origin wearing feathered headbands with face stripes. I understand that people do it for fun, however, that's very disrespectful towards a marginalized people and it's kind of alarming that this has become a trend. There's an excellent and concise blog post explaining here: taholtorf.wordpress.com/2011/10/29/native-american-culture-shouldnt-be-appropriated-for-fashion/

And just hold my grandma's camera while pretending to take a photo to seem so hipster and unique. So hipster it's mainstream
Yes! Hipsters who love JB, 1D and Mac Miller, I mean what is that? You have to love at least one of them to be hipster or...?
Which is why I would be a bit offended being called a hipster because of what society makes it to be.
