Twilight -- couldn't even tolerate more than half of it. And I *always* finish books.
Great Expectations.
Robinson Crusoe is proving to be a pain to get through too...

Does it count if I never finished it? I could not get through Jane Eyre. The whole book (well... what I read anyways) pissed me off. And I read the first chapter of Catcher In The Rye before returning it because it didn't seem to be going anywhere. Actually, most of the "Classics" I had to read in school weren't that great in my opinion. But Jane Eyre was definitely the worst.
Also, I have to say it: The Twilight series. I admit to reading them and for the first 2 books even being alright with them, though I recognized how crappy they were written and how sophomoric the plot was. But I'm sorry. They go from alright to not that great to horrible. :/

The Lovely Bones ... Beyond overrated, I couldn't even finish it. It's rare I don't finish a book, even one that I'm not enjoying.

YES! I hated Jane Eyre (I had to study it when I was 14, though, which I think is too young because it's a pretty heavy book)
still, eurgh.

I'm struggling my way through Never Let Me Go at the moment. Everyone has been raving about it so I thought I'd give it a go, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere and the main character Kathy is beyond whiny and Ruth sounds like a complete bitch. I don't like any of the characters or care for them at all.

Unpopular opinion time!I actually hate Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, not because of the language(although that can be headache-inducing) but the characters and their uptight little morals and the whole oh-the-heroine's-holier-than-thou-then-marries-her-cousin angle. I rooted more for the "corrupt" characters than Fanny Price et. al.

Twilight- awful.
To Kill a Mocking Bird- boring as hell.
The Hobbit- makes me cringe.
Great Expectations- Read the first 3 pages then refused to open it.
A Separate Peace- a story about a depressed man living in his past... Fantastic...
Treasure Island- just plain bad.
Pride and Prejudice.
Not all but most of them.

I don't know what the English translation for the book (I bought the French version) but I think it's Vampire's Diary. This was THE WORST BOOK I have ever read. I didn't even finish it. The story was too fast that I didn't even get that the main character died at some point ! The story was annoying, stupid and I really didn't like the way it was written.

New Moon/Breaking Dawn were really bad. I didn't like Insomnia by Stephen King either, but I like most of his books.
Then there wera all those books based on twilight (Vampire Diary's, Shiver) and it was all lame.
I couldn't finish Dracula either, I liked it, but i think I was too young for it the first time I tried.

I'm so glad so many people hate Twilight as much as I do!! What terrible books. I've only read a page of the first one and almost barfed. I refuse to read bad books.
Out of the books I DID read, the absolute worst is Emma by Jane Austen. I freaking hate Jane Austen.

The Old Man & The Sea by Ernest Hemignway, two hundred pages triying to catch the fucking fish and when he finally catches it , it's eaten by sharks ¬¬
And the only book I haven't finish in my life, Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, so annoyingly boring!!
IDK, everybody seems to hate Twilight, but in the end almost everyone (including me) has read it, that was Stephanie Meyer's evil plan e.e

I think the worst book I read was Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight". I even read it in the original version because I thought, well maybe it has some literal value. It was horror. It was just a bad mixture of Anne Rice and Romeo and Juliet. Really, it was all stolen. That was a very sad experience.
