New painting major here, herp derp.
Some are more recent, some are from high school (unfortunately I didn't get to take any photos of my most recent stuff before I left for a study abroad program):
Oils are my favorites, but I work with a lot of acrylic and gouache as well, and I like mixing acrylic in particular with other dry and wet media.
I actually really like painting on mat board and non-corrugated cardboard. Which I may do more seeing as I'm going to be unable to use the woodshop here to build canvases for a while... but I would also love to paint on random objects, I have a few projects in mind like that.

I work in acrylic. All these pieces were done with a lot of metallic/interference paint colours so these pictures really don't do them justice, you have to see them under good light. I don't really have a preferred surface, I like experimenting with different kinds. I've recently come up with this finger painting technique that's addicting :>

all paintings are made with acrylic paint
the last one is my biggest one so far, but I'm working on a bigger one :D
the one with the horses is for my "endproject" this year.
And for some reason I always paint circles when I'm working abstract.

Although, because it's 20 square feet and on particle board... the thought of shipping it back is like, argh.

I have a few more, but I'm really embarassed haha. You can tell I don't really like fine art. I hate controled things. I preffer to get messy and put energy and life into my work, rather than sitting at a table painting.
