Feathers on a shirt are always nice.
Packaged happiness, Made in America, or Excuse me while I have a staring contest with the Sun. How about: a drawing of a hot air balloon, but replace the basket with a fish bowl filled with water and fish.. :)
Just go crazy and whatever comes to mind, just put it on that shirt.

"Make cookies not war" is one of the well-known sentences I really do love! :)
And I've got a Tee (though it's not DIY) with the sentence "Save water shower with a friend"

take me home, popular, money tree, hug a hippie, hipsters are too mainstream, sticks and stones, I'll break your bones, decent, I'm in your mind, etc...random things are perfect for this kind of thing.

P.S. aglet is the plastic thing at the end of the shoe lace

I used to put phrases in different languages on shirts for my friends.
I have one with "Molto Bene" and another with "Allons-y!".
They're Doctor Who quotes but they are both inspirational to me."Molto Bene" means very good in Italian, and "Allons-y" is let's go in French.
