I am just wondering what program do you use for your blog header?
I have just started mine and it would be cool to have a great header. I have no clue how to do it! Any tips?:)

Photoshop, but if you don't have it, then pixlr.com/ is good as well.

Photoshop like everyone else, but I people don't have it, some good editing links are
lunapic.com ( no download required)
photscape.org (this is a free download, and a rather nice programme when I don't feel like opening photshop.)

Photoshop is definitely the way to go if you want to do some graphic design for anything -- however your choices are to live on the edge of the law and illegally download it, or shell out a couple hundred bucks and buy it.

For the header, I used the tools on the Blogger itself. But I did the background using Photoscape... You can see it here, if you want to: makeyourselfupgirl.blogspot.com/

I´ve used illustrator for my banner.. but beacuse i work with that programm.. for begginers it would be better photoshop!
you can see mine here .. no big thing, but it can change the look to the whole blog!
originaleegggoo.blogspot.com/

Just search for one cool font on dafont.com and start from there.. eventually when you know how tu use an editing program you can add some pics or illustrations to the banner design.
Hope this helps!
xx

I use Seashore for Mac, since it's a nice, simple and free program to use. Used it to make my current header. Check it out.

Adobe Lightroom for editing my photos for the header and GIMP to arrange the items on my header. For me, Photoshop is much too expensive because I would never use every single option it contains, so GIMP is enough for what I want to do with my pictures. Does anyone use a graphics tablet?

I actually painted mine by hand and then because my scanner broke, I used an app on my iPhone called CamScan (the free version) and scanned it via my phone camera onto my computer, where I then adjusted the white balance and color hues on Photoshop. xD It was a lot of work but it was all I had at the time. You can see my blog header here if you would like :)

Usually Adobe Illustrator ! But my logos are normally very simplistic so it's perfect for the headers and logos I create.
