Hi! I'm not a fashion student but I'd love to be one. This year I'll be taking my final exams.. But here in Holland we have some kind of project that each one who will be taking his/her finals has to do. And my project is to set a fashion show up. That means:
- find a location
- find models
- find the right technique and the people who can work with it
- find everything you need and most of all:
- CREATE THE CLOTHING PIECES
now our theme is "Climate Change".. I've already got most of my subjects: increasing chance on hurricanes, less and less water in Africa and such, increasing sea levels, disappearing ice on the Northpole (and the consequences for the animals) and all those kinds of subjects. We've got 8 subjects; I'm gonna create 8 pieces of clothing. :) And just maybe this will be my ticket to a fashion education. And maybe even as a designer!!
If you guys have any tips on how to set something like this up and maybe some tips on accessoires and such.. They're more than welcome!

If you want to become a fashion designer it would be of great use to study on fashion courses in London in Neri Karra's school sfdlondon.com .

I'm currently studying Fashion & Textiles, which covers jewellery design, garment construction, embroidery, printing, pattern cutting, illustration and more :) I hope to then go to university to study Fashion Design or Styling & Photography!

in your opinion what makes it better?
I'm currently having trouble on deciding a major because I love fashion design, but can't sew to save my life so anything that is fashion related and doesn't involve sewing would be best for me. (hence why I'm asking you about your major to begin with lol)
