I'm not completely non idea-less, the one's i have so far are: gothic, french revolution or superheroes. i don't mind the themes ive come up with but they just don't really inspire as much as i want them too... I have to create a mood board and colour board, and then eventually design several garments to put together as a 'collection'.

So any ideas would be greatly appreciated, im particularly looking for ones which are different and stand out :) thanks x

How about fairytales? I know that it's been done before, but there's a dark and an innocent side to all of them, so you could do so much.

Tim Burton? i think the man's brilliant and i love a whole plethora of his work.
the French Revolution definitely sparks the AP European History portion of my brain... what about the Industrial Revolution's urban classes? playing up the simplicity and intentional dirtiness could be interesting. also, other eras can be interesting. 1920s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s...
perhaps focus on a specific culture? the Bohemian culture seems to be widely enjoyed. however, the Indian Bollywood culture is interesting to me as well!
