Hi,
With iPhones, Blackberries, Facebook and all other technological uses to communicate with people along with our rush to finish things as quickly as possible so we can check it off our list and move onto the next thing, I feel as though the art of writing a letter or talking to a stranger is becoming lost. Yes, emails and text messages are quicker, but it isn't the same as the rush you get from a long anticipated letter arriving in the mail and finally getting the chance to open it up to discover what's inside. Text messages saying "How are you?" "Good, you?" "Good." aren't the same as the curiosity and intrigue of seeing someones life and interests poured out onto paper.
I'm 18 years old and from Port Moody, Canada. I'm into art, novels, comic books, fashion, travel, films, history, food, music, philosophy, and culture. I think it would be really cool to exchange books, films, recipes and music or even to send gifts between each other as well.
