Does Acrylic Paint wash off with water or detergent?

on skin, yes. on fabric, quite difficult and most of the time, you can't.

With the things I hand paint, I usually hand wash and hang dry.

My mother used to paint on clothing with acrylics. Never faded. So I hate to say that generally it doesn't wash out.
