Everyone tell me I look exactly like my mom, which can get annoying only because personally, I can't see how/why! But I look nothing like my sister, she has blonde hair, freckles, very different shaped features etc. I don't mind either of those much!

My sister and i are a little over a year apart and we have been mistake for twins or mistaken for each other our entire life. She works at the gym that i belong to and when she first started a lot of her her co-workers (including her boss!) would mistaken me for her while i was working out. The other day i introduced myself to the new spin instructor and he said "Oh i met you last week right? But, you weren't wearing your glasses" ... nope that was my sister.

i look a lot like my dad. I got the chinese gene from him (white skin, little eyes). i think the fashion gene comes from my mum, and maybe just that. me and my little sister also look alike but i'm shorter, more cute, and more chinese haha but people like to think that i look a lot younger than my sister because i'm little. a bit annoying but i enjoy the fact that i look younger than my age.

I look exaaactly like my mom. like, I know a lot of people say that and that their mom looks like their sister but that's actually true for us. everything about us looks the same except for our eyes (because she's completely filipino and my dad is white so I got his eyes) and haircut. she has longer hair and is more outgoing so people flirt with her all the time and that's a little annoying, but. I'm glad she looks good because it means hopefully I'll look good when I'm older.

I have a half-sister though and her mom is asian too but she looks nooothing like me. she got my dad's blonde hair and her mom's face and it's so weird.

Nope. I come from a very tanned family. I'm also the only one with green eyes. A couple of my family members are blonde which isn't that common from my understanding from an arabic background.

My mum's got olive skin, black hair and green eyes.
My dad's used to have (before he went grey!) very dark brown curly hair and green eyes
My brother has olive skin, black hair and green eyes (just like my mum and all her family)

Now, I have blue eyes, pale freckly skin and dirty blonde/ginger hair.

I look nowt like any one at all that I know of

Please don't tell me i'm adopted.

I think i look like my mum especially when we were both like 10. I think i sound like her alot too. But i think i mostly look like my dads mum, we actually have identical smiles. I think i also look like my older brother liam too :-)

Not really, though you can tell we're a family, because we have a few common features.
People used to tell me that I looked like my mother, but when I grew older I started to look like my dad (at least, that's what they say)
My sister is like my opposite, though we think the same way.

my brother and i have our dad's brown eyes. my sister has my mum's big hazel eyes. in my mum's pictures, when she was young she looks like my sister. when she was a teenager she looked like me. i know its other way around but thats kind of how i can explain it :P my sister has my mum's olive skin and my brother is white skin while i have my dad's darkest skin colour. so we all look like a mix of our parents

My brother and I have the same swoopy mane of blonde hair, and though he has a bigger nose and squintier eyes, people say we look identical. I look mostly like my dad, though my mother's eyebrows make everyone say I look like her.

People say that my sister and I look like twins, although we're two years apart. I understand that we look kind of similar and we're the same height, but if they actually saw us together on a regular basis and knew us well, they definitely wouldn't mistake us for twins. I have a squarer jaw and a weird nose, while her facial features are a little rounder/feminine? I dunno how to explain it.

I don't think I look like either one of my parents, but a lot of people say I look like my dad.

I am truly the mutt of my family.

People always say, "OH you look just like your dad!" or "OH you look just like your mom!" depending on which parent I'm seen with.

I have two younger fraternal twin brothers, and each of them clearly looks like one parent or the other. One is like a carbon copy of my dad, the other looks like every male on my mom's side.

When I was a kid, I was the spitting image of my dad. As I've grown up, I look more and more like my mum.

My little brother is 12 and we look pretty similar when you compare photos. Even though he's blonde with blue eyes, and I'm brunette with greeny eyes, our lower faces are really similar- cheeks, jaw and smile. It's interesting because he has a different dad whereas my other brother has the same parentage and we don't look so much alike.

I'm told that I look exactly like my mom. ...it's true too, I have to really squint and check the face in a picture to see if it's me or her. (I have a scar next to my mouth.) As a baby I was the spitting image of my dad. ...funny how that changes over the years. I have my Gangee's (Dad's mom) eyes and hands though.

Well I don't resemble my sister or my mother at all but instead I am young and female version of my father. It is fun how people mix up our pictures if they are pics of me and pics of my father when he was a teenager. But I enjoy it since I think my father is handsome and awesome person<3 :)

I'm like a complete mixture between my mum and dad (but i look more like my mum for obvious reasons), and so is my sister, but we're still really different.
i'm blonde with no freckles and a smaller jaw, and my sister is brunette with freckles.
we look nothing alike, and she looks older than me :/
its weird how we both look like our parents, but completely different!

My mom and I have basically the same profile, but I have my dad's eyes and build. My oldest sister and I look quite alike and we also have nearly the same voice. We've been mistaken for each other by people who don't know us well. I don't think we're THAT similar, but you can see a resemblance between all three of us, though Alice and I moreso than Maddie (the redhead in the photo below).

My youngest and oldest brother look a lot like my dad, and my middle brother looks like neither, but shockingly like a random great-uncle on my mom's side.

It doesn't really bother me if people tell me I look like my mom or dad or sister or brother or whatever. We're all decent-looking folks, I think :) The thing that bothered me though was my sister's friends were always so amazed by how similar our voices are that they were always trying to get us to say stuff in stereo, or have one of us repeat what the other says. Pretty irritating.
