i've got an old polaroid land camera here, i think it takes sx70 film. do i have to use this exact brand, or will any polaroid film do?
if i can ever find it... that's the other part of my dilemma. it seems the only way to get polaroid film is to buy it from the Impossible website, where a pack of film is $23 US. should i bother asking around local photography shops, or is it only available online?
any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have an old polaroid as well, though I haven't heard of that film before (I forget what mine takes, it's been a while since I've used it).

You should be able to find it elsewhere, I'd try using google. Though I really doubt you'll get it at any local photo places, polaroid film tends to only be online these days, at least that I can find. :/

I have an old polaroid camera too. Sadly, $23 is an average price for a 10-pack of film, it won't get any cheaper than that.

They sell films for polaroid cameras. They've remade films for vintage, instant cameras like Polaroid.

You can get expired stuff from eBay but that's risky obviously since the quality is not guaranteed.
