So, I have a lot of purple corduroy and a lot of pink corduroy. It's pretty old, probably close to 20 years old. It's good quality, but I lack anything to do with it.
I've made bags with it and made pillows, but I still have a good 2 yards of both.

The colors aren't very flattering, they're really childlike--the pink is close to hot pink and the purple is a basic purple.

So, any idea what to do with it? I want to actually use it for something.

I agree about the skinny pants, especially for the purple. I've seen purple cords as skinny pants around, and they're usually very flattering. Another cool idea, since you have so much of it, is to make overalls! If you make them lean and well-fitted, they'll look super cool. I'd DEFINITELY buy a pair of purple corduroy overalls, as weird as that may sound! Since the pink is so bright, the earlier suggestion of high-waisted shorts sounds appropriate. I hate the color pink myself so I can't tell you many suggestions about that one :/ but the purple sounds wonderful!

with about 2 yards? probably a simple circle skirt(like the ones at american apparel) or high waisted short would be cute! Also maybe book cases or a backpack would be cute
