I'm thinking about holding a dress design competition at our school. I think a lot of people are interested in joining and this can help promote better fashion in campus.

I myself am not a designer. Maybe some of you out there have experience with this. Do you guys have any tips/ small details that you could share? It would help make the project a probable success.

By the way, I'm also thinking of tying it up to the theme of saving the environment. So something probably like recycled fabrics for the construction of the dress.
