Hello, I am Alice and I am 18 years old. I was just wondering where your favourite places to shop are? I shop in a variety of places from high street to charity shops and I even take the occasional hand-me-down.

I'm from Turku, which is not too big of a city in Finland, but I believe it's still one of the bigger ones(lol, I suck at geography). Anyway, I like to travel to Helsinki to go shopping. In Helsinki, my favorite shops are Weekday and Monki. I don't really know about any nice second-hand, vintage or thrift stores there, but I plan on doing some research on it.. In turku I like the regular stores like H&M and carlings, but also a few vintage shops that I visit regularly to search through.

I'm from Denmark, and believe me, we have a LOT of H&M, Only, Gina Tricot... and I just don't DIG those stores. So normally, I just like to find stuff on the internet, it's way easier, if you want to avoid all those popgirl-stores we have.
But if I have to chose some stores I like, I loooove Weekday, Monki and vintage stores (:

I'm from Colorado.. H&M just opened here and it's a pretty big hit. I enjoy the trendy clothes they offer but I never overlook a buffalo exchange, goodwill, ARC, Savers.. That's where the best stuff is. I found a vintage Christian Dior silk scarf, some fur coats, designer bags and shoes.. Sometimes the quality isn't so great (like this Coach crossbody I found for $30 that had some water warping on the front flap..) The hunt is where the thrill is at!

We have it all pretty much, but to be honest I much prefere just going online and having a look for clothes, theres always alot more choice, its a hell of alot cheaper and theres some really unique clothes and things you just can't get in the shops, Ebay is my favorite.
BUT, if I was forced into choosing a solid brick shop, I'd probably say, Topman. However as I said, ebay is better, I bought a black blazer off ebay a long time ago for literally £6.40, Meanwhile the exact same blazer was sitting in topman for £65.00, hah, yeah fuck that.

Umm, like any other girl my age, I like the typical stores in the mall like H&M. But, there's a
cosignment shop down the road from me that sells true vintage clothes for less than $25 a piece.
I frequent there a lot.

However, for shops that I can get to all the time, I love Topshop, River Island and Urban Outfitters (though no clothes in OU fit me!)
Oh and, since we didn't mention clothes shops specifically, Ikea! Seriously, my house resembles an Ikea showroom. Plus, they sell hot dogs! What's not to like?

but seriously,, you can find the BEST stuff in the shittest stores, I've always made a point to go to all the cheap shops which have clothes,, and vinnies, adra, lifeline, etc are my favorite. Salvos is a little overpriced for me but I find some cool stuff there too.

More of a Topman guy than Zara (we have both here), since Topman has smaller sizes. Still frequent both though. We have a clothing chain store here called Bench (not the same one as in the UK), which is great for basics (I guess it's like a more affordable Gap -- but with a widerrrrrr array of choices). My local go-to stores include Folded & Hung as well. We don't have H&M yet, but when I go overseas, I get so little stuff from there coz the sizes are still a tad to big. Still excited for it to come over our shores though (it'll be here by this year or early next). I shop in Hongkong and Singapore too and when I'm there it's usually Cotton On, Bossini (boys section), 2%, and the ID outlet store (includes Chocoolate and 5CM). I also frequent local thrift stores for one-of-a-kind finds and mix with my branded stuff.

i don't buy alot of things new because since i started regularly opshopping i see everything in stores as 'overpriced'. Even though im all for fair trade and getting enough money for what you have made, alot of stores mass produce and then overprice :S
If i buy things new i shop at the simplistic kmart and target. Otherwise i buy sale items from cotton on and factorie.

I live in Pori, Finland. Pori is such a small but notable city in western Finland (anyone heard of Pori Jazz?) I must say that people in this city is a little bit narrow- minded when it's about fashion... and people also dress horribly, almost every teenager wears leggings, uggs and a parka jacket, and grown-ups wear like sweat-pants and a windjammer ;< For teenagers our only shopping mall has stores like Gina Tricot, H&M, and Cubus.
I like to buy basic, cheap clothes and for me H&M is the best :> also their sales are amazing, just bought a beret with a price of 2 euros and a couple of shirts with 5 euros per shirt! <3 (when normally the beret was 5 € and shirts 10-15 €) I get huge clothgasms when I found something very cheap ;w;

Zimmermann is amazing and sells really beautiful pieces.. we also have sass&bide which sell some really statement pieces.. Sportgirl, General Pants and American Apparel are good too for basics and stuff - we have some really good markets and opshops which you can find some amazing things for a way better price then what you'd buy in stores - since Australian shopping can be quite pricey!

I'm from England but lived in Korea for a long time. Over in Korea I loved shopping in the underground markets, they had amazing stuff really really cheap. The markets in Bucheon and Bupyeong subways stations, both on the outskirts of Seoul, are amazing. I loved the little boutiques around Ewha and Hongdae too. Myeong-dong and Dongdaemun are more famous but I don't like them as much, both overpriced and the staff on the stalls could be pretty rude in Dongdaemun.
I recently moved to Leeds in England and I do love Topshop and Urban Outfitters but think they're both overpriced so I only shop in the sales there. H&M really varies for me but when they get it right, they really get it right. I used to love shopping in charity shops but find these days they're full of Primark stuff (and other than accessories, decent Primark stuff is rare enough in the actual shop, let alone second hand). I've mostly bought stuff off ebay lately, some new, some vintage.
I love Sheffield for vintage shops. Cow has some lovely reworked stuff.
