If you liked Supersize Me, then you'll enjoy Food Inc.
The guy above named many, but I'd like to highlight Exit Through the Giftshop (art) and Planet Earth and Cosmos (science) as three documentaries I've found inspiring!

Same as you, Supersize Me. I never get tired of it! But I think I'm actually just a foods-and-looks-documentary-guy.

Exit Through the Gift Shop is great! And as a hardcore film student I'm super impressed that you've seen The Last Bolshevik; you should check out other Chris Marker films-- Sans Soleil is my absolute favorite. Also, if you like Chris Marker, you should check out the early Soviet stuff he was inspired by, such as documentaries by Dziga Vertov (Man with a Movie Camera).

I love Louis Theroux documentaries... He did one where he went to visit that crazy westboro baptist church, and alot of other ones on racism, crime ridden streets, warzones etc, he really gets up close to the action..

You should watch "WE FEED THE WORLD". Really. It's about how much food is wasted everyday, and how hard people have to work for it. It's about how little chicken are treated before they get eaten by YOU.

I think "Sicko" is an important political documentary to see, especially if you live in America.

Life in a day! I thought it would be something cheesy and dumb but it's not at all. It's very interesting seeing other peoples lives and what not. And some parts were inspiring and sad. Just a good documentary/film all around.
