I bough shoes similar to these last December. I think it's made of faux suede, some synthetic material.

Since it didn't have a box, I stored it in a plastic bag in my closet. Now it has all these ugly matted parts from where it came in contact with other shoes :( I tried brushing it but it wouldn't return to its original appearance.

Have any of you had this problem? What did you do?

I wish I could fix this. It's such a waste since they're so pretty and I haven't even used them yet.
