Redesigning my blog, which header looks better?

So I've been told that my blog layout is a little on the plain/boring side, and I assumed that's because of the lack of colour. I decided to redesign the layout, the main part was changing the header though. I drew up a new one and then edited it, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. Anyway, here's the normal one:

I think the brown one is really better. Colour always catches attention, so that's a plus. In addition, the way you coloured it reminds me of wood - the structure on the letters, I mean. And this you can see better with brown!

I like the brown one too! It seems to fit the "wardrobe" of the title-- brown, woody, reminiscent of oak. Also makes me think of soft leathers and other fabrics, whereas the blue kind of fades into the background and is a little too reminiscent of the color of those old Windows '95 and '98 boxes and browsers/folders, you know?

I was going to suggest maybe adding a pop of color by coloring in some of the clothing in some other hues, but with the way your blog is now it actually looks nice wit just the brown.

I would have colour on the clothes too. Or at least a computer generated logo/header.
While I personally love the black-white reading thing, which is easier for your viewer to read, the colour thing even if it is changing the white background to a transparent wood-wardrobe feel.

Yeah I did try that, but it looked really messy with all the different colours, so I just stuck with one colour

I like the brown; neither really pop out at me, to be honest. Not that mine's any better, haha.
Maybe add some green? That'd be pretty :)

I agree with the general consensus and would say brown also! It gives it a sepia, vintage charm :-) the graphic is fab by the way! Nice work.
