How do you feel about Lady Gaga? Do you think she's forgettable? Or the artist of a generation?

She's no Beethoven, that's for sure, but hey! Maybe the people in the future are as dull as us, who knows.

I think she'll be like Madonna: The Queen in one era, and then the Super Bowl half time artist in another.

I think shes way to overrated, and people with real taste in music don't really like her musc. its just people that hear her music over and over in stores and radios get "used" to her songs. Just my opinion!

She's trying too hard. Don't like her.
Besides, she's trying to claim Gaga to be hers, when Queen had it first. RADIO GAGA FTW!

I personally enjoy almost all of her post-Fame Monster songs that haven't been overplayed, especially those that the radio wouldn't dare to touch (i.e. Bloody Mary, Electric Chapel, etc.). The songs that the radio overplays are never quite my cup of tea. Additionally, I like her as a person from what I've seen. Though the media's outlets are rather flawed and biased, she seems to genuinely believe in her fans, style, and music (though I obviously can't speak from certainty). Despite those who shake their heads at her, she has a massive appeal to both audiences that enjoy popular, overplayed, shopping mall music (e.g. includes many but is not limited to snarky teenagers and their mothers) and those that enjoy dark, surreal, or dance-like electronica (e.g. myself, at times).

I'm not a big fan, but I enjoy most of her music because it sounds good and the fame monster has kind of a darker sound to it
I just wanted to say that she never claimed that Gaga is her invention or anything, she actually said that Queens radio gaga is partly responsible for how she got her name so she's actually giving them credit ... and I think even for the lady part she gave credit to David Bowie's lady grinning soul
but she is really trying to hard
again.. I'm not a fan, I just happen to know a lot about pop culture as I'm also educated in other music, so please don't put me into the "crazy gaga fans know it all" box :D

I don't like her.

I think she's trying way too hard to be eccentric and it looks desperate.

I think she's a great artist, I mean the whole package for an artist. She's a musician (that sings and plays piano), dancer, has a very unique couture sense of style, she appreciates people who admire her work with Haus of Gaga consists of various creative people. I'm not entirely crazy about her but I really admire her work, her personality, and her achievements so far.

She inspires me to not be a fraidy-cat when it comes to my style. Some mornings I tell myself "If Lady Gaga can wear [insert ridiculous thing here] without being self-conscious, I can wear this skirt." I like a lot of her music too, I mean, not all her songs are diamonds, but there's some good stuff there.

true, she's a middleman... the mainstream doesn't really understand where she's coming from or what exactly her message is, but i think they find her quite amusing.

Really? Is it the same one she has/in the same place? That's so cute! I have her signature (from my signed album) on my thigh, because I plan on adding a quote. I also have her from the Mugler fashion show on my inner wrist. :-) Gaga tats are awesome!
