When I'm somewhere with my friends, I want to take a picture of my look, but if there's too many people around, I get so shy and I'm unable to get a good shot!

You could try taking your photos in a more isolated place? I take mine down a wee laneway near my house that pretty much no one knows about, so there's no interruptions!
Other than that, just try your best to ignore the people watching, I guess, and focus on what kind of look you're trying to achieve.
(:

i ever take some looks on public ,so many people there and my tricks is ask my friend to shoot me as usual .and if you feel shy ,do not look camera and no smiles ..it will be great like a paparazi,so people may not know.

You know what's funny? Tourists would take a picture anywhere and they wouldn't even care if anyone looked at them weird.
Just do that. Don't care... what are they gonna do? Find your lookbook? Haha its not a big deal, so why worry about it?
