I used to never do this , then i went through a mad period of removing, cleansing, toning , moisturising but i burned out pretty soon and now i just use simple make-up wipes to remove my make-up every night. My friends still dont take off their make-up every night...I couldnt sleep if i didnt ...Do you?

I don't. But I use such cheap make up that it's mostly worn off by night-time anyway. Either way, I've never run into any skin problems because of it. Anything still there will come off in the shower the next morning.

I wouldn't be able to fall asleep with makeup left on, I find it uncomfortable. Also, I'd break out like mad. I cleanse, tone, and moisturize twice a day, and apply eye cream nightly.

I pretty much HAVE to take it off every night. I try not to wear make up at all because (unfortunately) my acne has gone out of control!!! Going to the dermatologist soon, so hopefully in about 3 months I'll be able to wear makeup again without having all these dry and bumpy areas! I would take it off before bed though, I wouldn't want to get it all over my pillow...

I don't really wear much makeup, but when i do i remove it as much as i can with wipes before going to bed. Though, i'm careful as the skin around the eyes are very tender and i don't want to end up getting wrinkles too early. :) And i use cleansning milk, toner and moisturiser every morning and then jojoba oil every night. So got perfect skin ftw.

I don't see why people don't. Unless every product you put on your face is noncomedogenic, you need to wash it off or you will clog your pores.
I usually remove my eye make up before I get in the shower, and then wash my face with a cleanser in the shower. Then, when I get out, I tone and moisturize.

I've been getting really good at taking it off.. I think you should take your make up off at night otherwise it's all gross in the morning and then some of it you can't get off with just water. It actually helps with acne prone skin because make up leaves a lot of oil and dirt into your pores.....yuck.

Almost always unless I'm extremely tired or extremely drunk. It doesn't feel good to go to sleep with makeup on and it's just not good for your skin, I wouldn't feel clean.

99.9% Aloe Vera gel is great for getting rid of acne. I used to have it really bad so keeping makeup on overnight was out of the question. But now if i'm out i will leave it on but then will steam my face and use a scrub the next morning :)

almost never. I don't really wear much anyways just some eyeshadow, liner and mascara (bonus points - it usually looks the same in the morning). I feel like sleeping in foundation would feel gross and it would discolor my pillows so if I used it I would try to take it off but I'd probably be too lazy most days

Almost always. I only really wear powder and eyeshadow, but it makes me feel like my skin is absorbing it all if I don't take it off. I take off my eyeshadow with wipes as well, and then simply rinse my face and towel dry. It makes me feel a lot better. Only occasionally do I fall asleep without taking it off.

Absolutely, I'm so paranoid that If I don't I will break out...can't sleep. All I use to wash my face is a bar of cetaphil...I swear by it!! It's gentle, easy, and I NEVER break out from using it :)

wow I can't believe the amount of people that don't wash your make-up off at night! even if it doesn't break you out, it will affect your skin in the long run, ladies! i wash off my make-up at the end of my day, everyday (if this means 6pm when i get home and have no plans to go any where else, that's when i do it.)

Good grief, apparently I'm in the lazy as fuck category...actually, I apply my makeup Monday and just add to it as it wears off during the week. I don't take it off until I shower...sometimes not even then. And I never break out! So...go figure.

The only time I take my eye makeup off before bed is if I wore eyeshadow or a lot of eyeliner that day, I never bother taking off my face makeup because it's just a bit of concealer and powder

Definitely. i just use baby oil or any kind of natural oil also to remove my makeup with a cotton ball or tissue. Then after my fave facial wash to get rid of all that's left on my face. I always feel uneasy whenever I have make-up & try to sleep with it on my face, i don't know why, I have just always been like that.

I always take my make up off at night no matter what. As soon as I get home from work I usually take it off with Dove make up remover and then just before I go to bed I cleanse with Simple cleaner and use a face serum from Lush. I also keep my hair pulled back from my face after I've cleansed it until the next morning. I hardly get breakouts as a result of this

I always do, I don't feel comfortable if I don't.
Even if I get home by morning and can barely walk, I'll go and wash my face.
I'm pretty sure that if I didn't I'd wake up all smudged and covered in pimples and oil.
