Hey everyone, I have a quick question

I know it's probably impossible but maybe there is a way..
Is there any way to photograph the shadow of a flame?
the thing is.. flames don't make a shadow, because they are light.. so I guess my question is more- is there any way to get the light of the flame to reflect a shadow? or is it really impossible?

I can't use photoshop or edit the picture at all..

Thanks! :)

A way... to get the light of the flame... to reflect a shadow?

If the flame is big enough or you have a powerful enough flash/light then there will be a shadow. Flame+light+shadow=really interesting things, because of the flickering nature of fire. I don't know what kind of fire you're talking about or what kind of light you'd use so... Really you just need a light that's strong enough, so you'll have to play around with the fire and the light.
