I've thought about it for a while and decided only to choose Doctor Who because I've watched it for longer. Besides that though, I wouldn't be able to choose between them.

I regret to inform you I havn't gone away. Your sentence has been undermined.
However having said that, despite not seeing either of these shows I did watch one or two of the old sherlock holmes films a long time ago when I was visiting family and I thought they were quite good, that's as close as I come to answering this thread though.

Sherloooooock. Doctor Who's got a special place in our childhoods and maybe it's gotten worse or maybe I'm outgrowing the sometimes very poor storylines, but Sherlock I think is just better TV, more refined, containing more everlasting ideas.

I adore Doctor Who, but since David Tennant has gone forever and so has Russel T Davies, I would have to say Sherlock. *I BELIEVE IN SHERLOCK HOLMES!* x

That's a difficult one. They are both snarky characters, which I love. Dr. Who is taking forever to come out with its new season, so it's Sherlock for now.

This is like Sophie's choice. I want to say Doctor Who, but ever since Russell T Davies stopped writing the episodes and Steven Moffat took over it all got a bit confusing for my liking. Sherlock is amazing s usually on at this time of year :S Also David Tennant will always be the best Doctor
