Hello, beauties! I'm about to embark on a month-long road trip during which I'll be hiking through a lot of rugged forests. Where can I find some reasonably priced shoes that are honestly comfortable and practical for miles of walking, but aren't eye sores? Thanks so much!

EMS, it's where I got mine :) (Eastern Mountain Sports).
I can't remember how much they were because I've had them for years, but I've climbed mountains in them and they never hurt. The people there are super helpful when talking about fit and finding the right shoe. I would recommend boots that don't go above your ankle (those will be more expensive anyways, and have a higher chance of rubbing your heels raw, I always think). Make sure you hit up some wool socks too, they're super comfy, keep your feet dry, and are nice and thick.
Have fun and good luck!

Karrimor boots are the hardest, meanest boots i've ever worn. I've been wearing mine for about five years now and they've been through hundreds of rivers and trekked through kilometres of mountains.

We're talking between £50-80 for a pair of boots but they last a life time if you use them right.
