What do you think of wearing fur as a fashion statement? Are you against wearing fur? Do you prefer faux fur? Let's speak out about it. Personally, I am against real fur and would always rather faux.

I'm all for faux fur, I'm against real fur.
I don't understand how you can have a heart and still wear a dead animal on you. I won't even wear silk.

I love faux fur and wouldn't buy anything else. It does make me uncomfortable to see new fur products being made and sold, however I have no problem with people wearing/buying vintage fur.

I am not much for either, honestly, I'm just not a fan of the look. I do have two faux fur coats I am very fond of though, so there are exceptions. (One is white and fuzzy, think yeti or porn star coat, and the other a deep red, and kind of short in length.)
Real fur though makes me uncomfortable. I like the look even less. My mum has some old fur coats which just make me squirm when she wears them.

I would never wear real fur! I like faux fur on coats, but besides that, I'm not into it so much.

I don't wear fur. Real or faux. It just doesn't suit me and I'm not a big fan of the look.
Real fur for fashion? I'm a big no no on that one. Real fur for it's warm properties, I'm slightly more lenient if it's a vintage piece, but with man-made products and fabric technology able to give the same amount of warmth, I see no point in making new fur pieces. If you want to be fashionable, wear something trendy and risk being cold. If you want to be warm, wear something practical.

I don't see the point in wearing fur when faux fur is available.

Faux fur. I would totally prefer it. Even when it sounds childish: the poor animals! If I'd wear real fur, I couldn't help but think about that.

i love faux fur.
i would never wear real fur because i'm vegetarian and it would be incredibly contradictory - plus of course i strongly feel that it's immoral.
leather however is a different story for me unfortunately. i suffer with my feet and find it very hard to find practical shoes that are comfortable and breathable that aren't leather. however it's difficult to escape from for me anyway since i live in a house where there are leather chairs and i know people who drive cars with leather seats. for me it's impractical to avoid those situations but of course i wish i could.

i hate every ways of humans abusing animals. nobody has the right of taking a life from any living creature. that's all there is to it.
i like faux fur tough, but i'm scared for that somebody will think i'm using a real one - which is silly, but i can't do anything about it.

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one! I have a gorgeous long faux fur coat I wore all winter but I did hate the idea anyone might think it was real.
Real fur = no
Faux = yes and really really really warm!

Im not wearing both .. Im vegan and I just cant wear them, it makes me feel sick .. but basically Im not having problems when its "real" fake fur but a lot of times they´re using dog fur for it which is diguisting ..
If you´re interested in reading more about it, they are a lot of articles like this one
veganverve.wordpress.com/2008/07/23/faux-fur-potentially-dog-fur/
but its a really difficult issue and I dont want to judge people or tell them what to do or dont .. and I think the most important thing is to tolerate :)
