I used to have this handwriting font called Catholic Schoolgirls that I really liked, but in retrospect it might have just amused me because I went to a Catholic primary school.
For every day use, though: Verdana for main text and bold Century Gothic for headings, and Palatino if it seems to need serifs.
Georgia is my favourite, but I also have a soft spot for Helvetica Neue Light and some of the oddities that the digital art class at my school will occasionally create.

News Gothic, Gotham, Geo Sans Light. I use 11px Courier New a lot for web design. Always had a soft spot for Bodoni and Rockwell.

04b03 is a lovely pixel font, Peach Sundress for everything else, and Time New Roman or Century Gothic for all my default things.

Papyrus without caps. But it changes from time to time.
I like using Arial on my reports for school though most of the time they ask for Times New Roman, but I use Arial anyway!

Generally, I lean more towards the traditional serif fonts. I've been using 'Big Caslon' and 'Cochin' lately.
I love downloading fun, handwriting fonts for use in graphics; 'Peach Sundress', 'Crayon' and 'Little Days' are favourites I've used a lot in design.
